Fishing Lake Jocassee is a rather unique experience. Located in the remote part of northwest South Carolina, this deep clear mountain lake, fed by 4 rivers, and several creeks, is a challenging but rewarding place to fish. The lakes nearly undisturbed shoreline, steep mountain borders, and many waterfalls falling into the lake are a site to behold!

Lake "Jo" holds state records for Smallmouth bass, Coosa (Redeye) bass, Spotted bass, and Brown trout. The deep clear waters makes fishing a challenge, but if the lake is in the right "mood", you can have some unforgettable trips.

Trips run from October till February. Trips targeting the lakes big Largemouth, or winter Smallmouth require advanced skills, while the trips targeting numbers of Spotted and Largemouth bass are for any level of experience
