We have fished with Rob many times on Lake Lure over the last
4 or 5 years, in all seasons, in all types of weather and
conditions, and we've never been shut out. Every time has always been fun,
and he works really well with the kids. We learn something new about fishing each time we go. My
son still talks about some of the nice crappie, white bass, large and smallmouths that he caught 'fishing with Rob at Lake Lure'. Rob knows where the fish are,

Every time we're in the area we get Rob to
take us out on his boat. He knows where to fish, how to fish, and what to fish with. It seems like the fish know he's out on the lake and they just come to his boat. We always have an enjoyable day on the lake with Rob. And if you want to make his day, just ask him to pick up a rod and fish with you !! You'll learn how to fish just watching him. He is a terrific guide for me , a great teacher for my son and his friends, and a fair score keeper when the inevitable "who caught more" contests start.
